Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt is currently finalising the establishment of the National Complex of Serums and Vaccines in Helwan at a cost of EGP 142 million.

The trial operation of the complex, which reached 98% completion, is expected to start within two weeks, the Minister Health and Population, Hala Zayed, said in a statement on Sunday.

Built over an area of 10,500 square metres, the complex will be operated by smart radio frequency identification (RFID) technology which identifies and tracks items until being administered to patients at hospitals.
